As you spit your words at me, i hear them heighten. My arm sneaks behind my back to the other and my nails dig into my skin. it hurts, but it gives me something to work with and ignore the words you use to scold me with. Im trying to tell you that I'm trying my hardest. At everything. You don't listen and continue your rant. You tell me that i have no right to fail, that I'm lucky you are giving me access to things others don't have. that I'm ungrateful. you say i don't do anything to help around, and i can literally hear my heart breaking little by little. the pain is weird as it travels through my chest and into my toes and fingers.

It started with innocent touches and cuddles. we were at my house on the couch in the living room watching Transformers. As per usual my parents were upstairs going back and forth and me and him were just being careful.
